THE BRIEF
A proposal for the refurbishment of Block D at the MCAST Institute of the Creative Arts was set. The entrance to the classes had a very narrow passage, which caused crowding blocking the passageway.
INSPIRATION & SOLUTION
Stair seating could be designed around the uneven sections of the proposed area. This also allows a large amount of seating, placing students away from the passages and thus relieving the bottleneck effect.

CONSTRUCTION
This concept was chosen for the implementation phase. A frame structure will be constructed out of Red-deal wood. This will then be covered in pallet wood to reduce costs. The wood is then sealed in exterior varnish for durability.
